Topics to be covered include the purchase process from start to close; ways to protect yourself throughout the process; current loan programs and rates; suggestions to help strengthen your credit; pitfalls to avoid during the buying process; how to buy after a short sale or foreclosure; and more. The seminar will be presented by Valerie King, CNE, GPS, a Real Estate Consultant with Keller Williams Realty, and Robert Graybill, Loan Officer with Residential Mortgage Services, Inc. Sal Gilbertie, owner of Gilbertie’s Herb Farm, will speak about microgreens – young plants that are harvested a few weeks after germination. Cooking with Microgreens explains many of the most popular varieties, growing specifics and flavor profiles. Also included are fabulous recipes for enjoying your harvest in salads, soups, main courses, and more. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Registration is not required. TAX FORMS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
The Library has copies of Connecticut 1040 for pickup. Federal forms 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ and their instruction booklets are available for photocopying. Copies are 10¢ per page. Tax forms are also available online for downloading and printing – click on the links below.
