Your Library Card

EPL_CardPlease present your card every time you check items out. Please let us know if your address or telephone number changes so we may keep your card updated and ensure you do not miss notifications of requested items. To replace a lost card, a fee of one dollar ($1.00) is charged each time.

Through the Connecticard system, provided by the Connecticut State Library, you may use your library card to borrow materials from all public libraries in the State.  Please ask us how you may take advantage of this service.

Children’s Cards – Children may have their own cards at their parent’s discretion.  Parents please note that children’s borrowing privileges are unrestricted and you are responsible for any fines or fees they may accrue.  If you wish to place a limit on the number of items or type of items your children borrow, please alert a staff member at the front desk.

Library Card Application – To expedite the processing of your Library card, please print an application form  and bring it with your ID to the Library.  Your ID should show your current Easton address and can be a Connecticut-issued driver’s license, a student ID, a bill, lease, etc.  If you have any questions, please call us at 203-261-0134 or ask at the front desk.
